  1. Hello! I am aware that you can’t post comments. But I’ve recently read your isaac confusion blog. All of those isaacs are familiar but the one I’m looking for is an Isaac West who is purported to have married Mary Scott And had a son named Martin West. The name “Martin” is important because I’m looking for his father and I believe it’s Isaac. But I can’t find much proof. Martin West married a Minerva Cassandra Armstrong. Do you think you could help me out or have any information ?

  2. Hello Unknown, I don't have an Isaac West who married a Mary Scott in my database. However, I do have Isaac Martin West (183-1884). He was the son of Solomon H. West (1800-1866) and Catherine Criscillis (1800-1901). Solomon was the son of Alexander West (1776 Orange Co, NC-1860) who married Sarah Hawkins (1773-1839). Alexander was Solomon was the s/o John West/Mary Madden who were my 6th great grandparents. I hope this might be some help to you. Yes, there are many men with the same name found during those early years which makes it difficult to sort them out.
